How HAINT Billing Works

Add funds to your Balance
Top up your HAINT Balance anytime using Telegram Stars (Apple Pay / Google Pay). Minimum top-up: $5. For how long funds stay available on your Balance and how validity is extended, see Account Balance below.

Use HAINT — funds are deducted per minute
Every minute of active use is charged from your Balance at your current rate. No charges when HAINT is idle.

Your rate depends on your plan
Standard Pro Rate 5¢ / min 1.5¢ / min $5 on your balance = 100 min ≈333 min $15 on your balance = 300 min ≈1000 min Min. to start $5 top-up $15 / month Pro subscription includes 1000 minutes each month. If you need more — your Balance is used at the same Pro rate. If your Pro subscription ends, remaining Balance funds are used at the standard rate.
Account Balance
Your Balance is stored as funds ($), not as a fixed number of minutes. The rate applied when you use HAINT depends on your current plan.
- Minimum top-up: $5
- Balance valid for: 6 months from your last activity
- What counts as activity: any top-up OR using HAINT
- Any activity resets the timer for your entire Balance — not just new funds
Example: You top up $10 on Jan 1 — your Balance expires Jul 1. On Mar 15, you top up $5 — your entire $15 Balance now expires Sep 15. On Sep 10, you use HAINT for 5 min — Balance expires Mar 10.
If you have no activity for 6 months, your remaining Balance is forfeited. You can always start fresh with a new top-up.
Pro (Subscription)
Subscription Details
- Billing: Monthly recurring billing
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your Dashboard or by contacting support
- Included Minutes: 1000 minutes per month
- Beyond 1000 minutes: If you have funds in your Balance, additional usage is billed at your Pro rate (1.5¢/min) automatically. No need to buy separate packages — just keep going.
- Price Lock: Founders Price locked until September 30, 2026 (for subscribers who joined before this date)

Note: Pro subscription minutes reset monthly and do not roll over. If you cancel your subscription, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

What Happens When Minutes Run Out?
For Pro Subscribers (Overdraft Protection):
Overdraft is used only when your Balance is empty and your subscription minutes are exhausted. If your Balance has funds, those are used first at your Pro rate — overdraft is a last resort.
- Overdraft Protection: When both your included minutes and Balance reach zero during an active call, HAINT can continue using overdraft protection (up to -30 minutes equivalent)
- You'll see a notification: "Using overdraft protection. Don't worry, keep talking."
- HAINT pauses only when you reach the overdraft limit
- At that point, you'll see: "Overdraft limit reached. Please top up to continue."
- Debt Repayment: Any overdraft debt is deducted from your next monthly subscription renewal (1000 minutes)
- No automatic card charges beyond what you approve in Telegram — you choose when to top up
- Your subscription remains active; overdraft protection helps avoid abrupt cut-offs mid-conversation
For Standard (Balance) Users:
- When your Balance reaches zero, HAINT pauses (Safe-mode)
- You can top up from Pricing to continue
- Unused Balance funds expire after 6 months of no activity (no top-up and no usage). Any activity resets the timer. If you have no activity for 6 months, your remaining Balance is forfeited. You can always start fresh with a new top-up.
Our Promise: We will not charge your card automatically or create surprise fees outside the flows you start in Telegram. You control when you top up.

Do minutes roll over?
Pro subscription: No, monthly included minutes reset at the start of each billing cycle.

Does my Balance expire?
Your Balance is valid for 6 months from your last activity (any top-up or HAINT usage). Each activity resets the timer for your entire Balance — not just the new funds.

What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?
You keep full access to HAINT until the end of your current billing period. Your Balance funds remain on your account. After Pro ends, usage is billed at the Standard rate (5¢/min) instead of the Pro rate (1.5¢/min).
After that, you can keep using HAINT on Standard (top up your Balance) or use the free trial if you're eligible.
What happens to my Balance when I cancel Pro?
Your Balance funds remain on your account. However, your usage rate changes from 1.5¢/min (Pro) to 5¢/min (Standard). Your remaining balance buys fewer minutes at the standard rate.
Example: $15.00 Balance

- Without Pro: ≈300 minutes
What is overdraft protection for Pro subscribers?
Overdraft protection applies only after your included Pro minutes and your Balance are both exhausted. It lets you continue briefly (up to -30 minutes equivalent) so calls are not cut off mid-conversation. The debt is settled from your next monthly subscription renewal (1000 minutes).
Can I combine my subscription with my Balance?
Yes. When your 1000 monthly Pro minutes run out, HAINT automatically continues using your Balance funds at the Pro rate (1.5¢/min). No interruption, no manual action needed. If your Balance is also empty, Overdraft Protection gives you a 30-minute buffer before HAINT pauses.

What payment methods do you accept?
New purchases from the website use Telegram Stars in Telegram (Apple Pay and Google Pay are available there in supported environments). If you need help with an existing subscription, use your Dashboard or contact support.
