How HAINT Works
HAINT is your invisible AI assistant for high-stakes conversations. Here's how it works step-by-step.
1. Install HAINT
Download HAINT for Windows and complete the setup wizard.
2. Launch & Sign In
Launch HAINT from desktop shortcut or Windows Start menu.
Right-click the tray icon → Settings → Account → "Sign in via Browser".
After signing in, hover over the tray icon to see your remaining minutes.
3. Connect Headphones
HAINT automatically detects your microphone and output device at startup.
Connect headphones or headset — HAINT only outputs to private devices.
Others on the call hear nothing.
4. Use During Calls
Join your call (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.).
Press Shift to start listening, then Ctrl to get instant hints.
Instant hints only you can hear. Repeat for each question.
HAINT Hears. Not Just Reads.
HAINT processes your conversation as audio — not as transcribed text.
What this means for you:
- Full context preserved — tone, pace, emphasis, hesitation — nothing lost in transcription
- Faster response — no waiting for speech-to-text conversion
- Better accuracy — no transcription errors to confuse the AI
Reading a transcript vs. being in the room — HAINT puts AI in the room with you.
Optional — Attach Screenshots
Need help with something on screen?
Attach up to 4 screenshots each Shift request (slide, document, numbers).
New question = new screenshots. HAINT analyzes the image and gives smarter answers.
Optional — Load Your Reference
Paste text or load a .txt file with your notes, terminology, or reference material.
HAINT will use this context to personalize responses.
