1. Install HAINT
Download the HAINT desktop application for Windows. Installation takes less than 2 minutes.
- Download the installer from our website
- Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
- Launch HAINT and complete the initial setup
2. Connect Your OpenAI API Key
HAINT uses OpenAI's GPT models to generate intelligent responses. You'll need your own API key.
- Sign up for an OpenAI account at platform.openai.com
- Generate an API key from your OpenAI dashboard
- Enter the API key in HAINT's settings
- Your key is stored securely on your local device only
3. Use During Calls
Once set up, HAINT runs in the background and activates when you need it.
- Join your online meeting (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.)
- Hold the Shift key to activate AI listening
- HAINT analyzes the conversation in real-time
- Receive audio hints through your headphones — only you can hear them
- Release Shift to stop listening
