By using HAINT, you agree to these terms. HAINT provides AI assistance for conversations via local audio processing. You are responsible for compliance with your organization's policies regarding AI tools. No guarantees of outcomes are provided; use at your own discretion and risk.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HAINT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use HAINT.

2. License and Usage

License: We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use HAINT.

Permitted Use: Use HAINT for personal or professional assistance during conversations.

Prohibited Use:

  • Illegal activities or fraud
  • Impersonation or deception
  • Violating others' privacy or rights
  • Circumventing licensing or payment systems

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Compliance: You must comply with your organization's policies regarding AI tools.
  • AI Provider: You are responsible for compliance with your AI provider's terms of service.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure your use of HAINT complies with local laws and regulations.
  • Ethical Use: Use HAINT ethically and transparently when required by context.

4. Payment and Billing

Definitions

  • Service: HAINT AI assistance platform
  • User: Any person who uses HAINT
  • Account Balance: Prepaid funds on your account used for pay-as-you-go usage, charged at the per-minute rate applicable to your plan at the time of use (see Billing).
  • Minutes (usage): Billable active use of the Service, measured in time. How usage applies to your trial, subscription allowance, Account Balance, or overdraft is described on our Billing page.
  • Subscription: Recurring monthly billing for the Pro plan

Payment Terms

  • Free Trial: 90 minutes, 15 days, no credit card required. Device-bound (one trial per device).
  • Standard (Account Balance): You may add funds to your Account Balance and use the Service on a pay-as-you-go basis. Specific amounts (such as minimum top-up, per-minute Standard rate, and how long funds remain available, including extension when you add funds) are not stated in these Terms; they are set out on our Pricing and Billing pages and may change there from time to time.
  • Pro Subscription: Recurring monthly Pro subscription at the then-current price and included monthly usage shown on our Pricing page. How included usage, Account Balance, overdraft, and per-minute rates interact is described on our Billing page. Billed monthly. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Taxes: Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes may be added based on your location.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to all features until the period ends.

See our Refund Policy for detailed terms. In summary: 100% refund within 7 days OR if less than 30 minutes used.

5. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use HAINT for illegal activities, fraud, or deception
  • Impersonate others or violate privacy rights
  • Circumvent licensing, payment systems, or anti-abuse measures
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code
  • Use automated tools to abuse the service or trial system

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Service Availability and Disclaimers

HAINT is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service or uptime
  • Accuracy or quality of AI hints
  • Compatibility with all systems or software
  • Specific outcomes or results
  • Real-time latency or response times

You use HAINT at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI assistance.

7. Limitation of Liability

HAINT is not liable for:

  • Decisions made based on AI hints
  • Professional, financial, or legal consequences
  • Data loss, system errors, or service interruptions
  • Third-party services (AI providers, Windows, audio drivers)

Maximum Liability: Limited to amount paid in past 12 months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activity or payment disputes
  • Abuse of service or resources

You may close your account anytime via the dashboard. Please contact our support team if you need help.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
